The silo is designed for storing granules manufactured from waste materials like polyurethane foam, fibres, textiles, paper, mineral wool, rubber etc.

The silo is built in sections consisting of a base section, which can be fitted with up to 5 sections.

According to the MODAN standard system the silo is built as an octagon of galvanized steel pipes and galvanized cover plates. The base section is 800 mm high with a diameter of 2400 mm. The components for the base section, the electric control and the removal of fibres are installed.

According to requirement, the silo is built of sections, each 1 m high. The capacity of each section is 4 m3.

The upper section is covered by a textile filter. The air used for transporting granules can slip past filter. The silo may be filled directly from the granulator, or granules may be blown directly from another silo into the silo.

By means of a MODAN separator silo may be filled without pressure. Using this method, any dust particles will be removed from the granules. The silo is supplied completely fitted base section. The other sections are disassembled and packed into separate bundles. The transport dimension of a silo, including the base section, is 2400x2400x max. 1500 mm high.
